Clothing collection in the Biella Region
The Large Area Consortium Co.S.R.A.B. in cooperation with Humana People to People Italia, started the separate collection of used clothes, shoes, bags and linen with two new containers. The initiative helps to make the management of these materials even more efficient and to encourage reuse, benefiting the environment and Humana’s social projects.

Green container
Here you can deliver, in tightly closed bags, clothes, shoes, bags, accessories and linen IN GOOD CONDITION. These will be destined for the second-hand chain and resold in Humana shops in Italy and Europe, generating economic resources to be allocated to Humana’s international cooperation projects and local socio-environmental initiatives. Green containers are present in all municipalities served by Co.S.R.A.B.
Yellow container
On the other hand, here you can place sheets, blankets, towels, curtains, tablecloths, cushions, fabric toys and WORN, NON-REUSABLE clothes, shoes, bags and accessories. These will be sent to the recycling and recovery chain to obtain materials and energy in cooperation with specialised companies. The yellow containers are only present in the Collection Centres but are available to citizens in all municipalities.
All materials must be placed clean in tightly closed bags.
If soiled, soaked in oil, wet, mouldy or reduced to cuttings, they should be disposed of in the dry residue (unsorted waste).

You can also find the collection bins for used clothes, shoes, bags and laundry on the free Junker app. Just enter your municipality in the Maps section, select the filter ‘Humana clothes collection’ and our collection points will appear on the map.
